Question 1

Is this sales order generator free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is no account, no watermark, no limit on line items, and no paid tier.

Question 2

Does my customer data get uploaded anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. The sheet is built entirely in your browser and the draft is saved in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to a server.

Question 3

What is the difference between a sales order and an invoice?

Accepted Answer

A sales order confirms what the customer has agreed to buy before it ships, so it carries a ship-to address, weights and a ship date. An invoice asks for payment after the fact, so it carries payment terms, a due date and a balance due. Use the invoice generator for the second half of the job.

Question 4

Can I load an order from my own system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Open the JSON panel and paste a payload. Keys you do not recognise are ignored, and older key names such as items, price and shipto are still accepted.

Question 5

Will my draft still be here tomorrow?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as you use the same browser and do not clear your site data. To move an order elsewhere or keep a backup, download it as JSON and paste it back in later.

Question 6

Does this work with NetSuite?

Accepted Answer

Not directly — it does not connect to NetSuite. The layout mirrors a NetSuite sales order print, so it is a quick way to settle on a design before you build the equivalent Advanced PDF template in FreeMarker.
